Hi everybody, this is Julien from Arcee, and I'd like to introduce you to the AWS Deep Composer keyboard. Here it is; it plugs into your computer using USB, so you don't need batteries or external power. It's a MIDI keyboard, which means you can use it with your favorite MIDI app. I'm using GarageBand here on Mac, but anything else should work as well. It's a typical MIDI keyboard, so if you're familiar with them, you know what to expect. If not, you have a number of settings here to change octaves, enable automatic arpeggios, and enable automatic chords. There are keys to record and stop recording, and a whole bunch of additional settings for arpeggio mode and scales. Let me show you the scales. You can work with different scales, etc. It's super straightforward to use.
Again, I'm using GarageBand here, so I've selected this fancy 70s keyboard sound. You can enable chords or arpeggios if you want. That's probably too fast and sounds silly. You have a pitch setting here to introduce vibrato effects, etc. It's pretty cool. Let's see if we can play something. Here goes. Let's try the chords. It's a MIDI keyboard, and if you use your favorite MIDI app, you can record tunes, change instruments, and do all kinds of things. But of course, we want to plug this into the AWS Deep Composer service using the AWS Console. I'll show you this in the next video. See you in just a minute.
